Isaac Matus was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. He was introduced to music through guitar, but later on his career he started to explore other instruments such as percussion and Colombian traditional instruments. It was years later he decided to study music formally, and move to the USA. He graduated Berklee College of Music in 2018, where he received recognition such as the "Richard Devine Sound Design Award" for his compositions and projects in school. During this time, Isaac studied to become a producer and composer. He also got the chance to work and perform with artists like Toto la Momposina, Monsieur Periné, Carlos Vives, El Cholo Valderrama, Javier Limon, Hank Shocklee, Nona Hendryx, and Nella Rojas. Currently Isaac lives and works in New York City, where he freelances and collaborates with various artists and projects both as a producer and a performer. He also works at Wave Studios, a sound design and post production facility providing industry standard content for clients such as Adidas, Playstation, and Google.
